I love the idea of taking traditional models and ideas and just wrecking them completely, then starting over in a way that most people will look at and say, “You can’t do that!  It flies in the face of tradition!  It goes against the grain!  That’s not how everyone else does it!”.

Of course, it’s even better when it works…

This looks pretty promising; work your butt off for 30 minutes, then go do something completely non-work related for 30 minutes.  The theory is, you’ll end up crazy productive and focused for the 30 minutes that you’re working, a) because you have tight deadline, and b) because you’ve spent 30 minutes on non-work stuff, you’re clear-headed when you do the 30 minute “work drive”.
